Ruth has worked in structural engineering for over eight years, joining the Walder Sharp team in 2023. Previously, Ruth worked as a design Engineer and currently undertakes structural analysis and design at Walder Sharp.

Ruth is currently studying for a degree in Engineering, and is due to graduate in 2025! What inspires Ruth as an Engineer is learning from experienced Engineers within the team, observing the evolution of projects from inception to completion.

Outside the office Ruth enjoys painting, particularly with oil paints and working with clay, and in July last year participated in an outdoors Urban Art exhibition in Brixton, showcasing her artwork. Ruth is also learning British Sign Language in a conscious effort to be able communicate with friends and family who are Deaf, as well as people she meets in everyday life.
