Zaheera joined Walder Sharp in 2024, after gaining valuable engineering and construction experience at a structural design consultancy. While there, she worked on a variety of residential projects and more. This included a comprehensive structural re-design of a rear extension and loft conversion, with an emphasis on minimising the use of steel, concrete, and timber. Additionally, she drew and detailed several outbuildings for use in a research institute.  

As an aspiring engineer, she's dedicated to expanding her knowledge and honing her skills. Currently, she's using AutoCAD to create detailed structural drawings. Her goal is to contribute to a more sustainable future and inspire more women to pursue careers in engineering.

Zaheera began her Level 6 Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering in 2022 and is currently working towards her End-Point Assessment at London South Bank University.
